Previous Projects: ERA Championship Mitsu-Bachi F110e Racecar
ERA Advanced proudly introduced the world's first all-electric junior formula racing car back in 2019, a groundbreaking achievement in the realm of motorsport innovation.
Utilising the Dome F110 (Formula 4) chassis from Japan, coupled with cutting-edge powertrain and human-machine interface technology developed at our headquarters in Belgium, this revolutionary vehicle set a new standard in performance and efficiency. Remarkably lightweight at just 600kg, it features a 24kWh battery and a 130kW motor, delivering exhilarating speed and agility on the track.
Charging is quick and efficient, with the capability to recharge in as little as 10 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime between races. These exceptional cars have not only made racing history, but also serve as the cornerstone of ERA Racing School, the world's first electric racing school and experience day centre located at Circuit Zolder in Belgium.
Teaming up with our tech partner, Software AG, we were able to transform our racecar into an IoT device, creating a truly connected vehicle that revolutionises data collection and utilisation in the motorsport industry and beyond. By harnessing the power of IoT technology, our racecar offers real-time insights and analytics, enabling teams to make informed decisions and optimize performance like never before. This groundbreaking approach challenges traditional norms, paving the way for a new era of data-driven motorsport excellence.
Previous Projects: ERA Cup
The ERA Cup karts, meticulously designed and produced for STEM education projects aimed at inspiring the next generation of innovators. With a focus on engaging school children in hands-on learning experiences, the ERA Cup karts provide a platform for young minds to explore STEM concepts in a practical and exciting way.
Through these projects, students have the opportunity to build and race their very own electric cars, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. As they immerse themselves in the world of endurance racing, they also gain valuable insights into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. ERA Advanced is committed to empowering future generations with the knowledge and skills needed to drive progress and innovation in the years to come.
